This Adhesive weatherstrip is applied to the perimeter of a door frame to slow/prohibit the passage of smoke, fire, weather, sound, and dirt. It is crafted from high quality silicone rubber that has great compressions and will not impede the door operation. Ideal for doors in homes, hotels, dormitories, nursing facilities, hospitals, government facilities, and more requiring protection from weather conditions and to minimize heat loss.
* Seal begins compressing at 1/4". Compresses to seal up to a 1/16" gap.
* Self-extinguishing and non-toxic. Unaffected by sunlight, ozone and ultraviolet rays.
* Impervious to fungus and mildew; will not deteriorate under normal exposure.
* It has been passed UL 3 hour fire testing.
* Equipped with an authorised 3M self-adhesive backing tape.
