These Automatic Door Bottoms ensure an efficient seal with an adjustable plunger that is compressed against the frame as the door is closed, activating a concealed flat spring mechanism. This mechanism drops the seal smoothly from the housing in a scissor-like motion. The seal compresses on either even or uneven surfaces and retracts automatically when the door is opened.
YDB304 Automatic Door Bottom lowers a rubber seal when the door is closed to prevent infiltration of light, sound and drafts. The high quality mechanism of the door bottom ensures smooth action when the seal is lowered and fills gaps up to 0.75". Choice of rubber insert, finishes and mounting type. Length is custom cut to size. Maximum order length is 72".
